How to Password Protect Documents Sent to Your Office Printer

Wizix Techoffice tips, printer security

Unauthorized printing leaves your business vulnerable to a security breach. Unnecessary and personal print jobs also use up valuable resources like ink and toner. At WiZiX Technology Group, we want to help you protect your business data and print supplies with secure office equipment. We put together this guide on how to password protect your Brother or Savin printer and restrict unauthorized printing.

Why Should You Password Protect Your Printer?

When it comes to securing a business office, printers often get overlooked. In order to properly secure sensitive business documents and maintain your trustworthy reputation, you must password protect your printer.

Setting a password for your printer prevents hackers from accessing your network and authorizing print jobs. It also prevents employees from printing unnecessary tasks or accessing confidential information.
